APM underlines focus on quality management with ISO 9001:2008 accreditation

Accreditation confirmed
APM Technologies’ commitment to international quality management standards has been rewarded with ISO 9001:2008 accreditation.
APM’s accreditation was confirmed in June 2015 following an independent audit of its UK and Swiss-based operations by UKTA. APM’s decision to pursue accreditation was taken in August 2014.
What the standard means
The internationally recognised standard is based on quality management principles that are applied throughout a business and result in strong customer focus, process management and continual improvement.
A word from Michael O’Sullivan
APM’s commercial director, Michael O’Sullivan, said: “APM has always taken quality management very seriously – investing in rigorous but responsive software design, testing and integration processes that are able to meet even the most testing demands of our customers.”
Michael explains: “Our processes have always been geared towards ISO 9001:2008 compliance but, as an aviation software provider with a growing international reach, formal accreditation for an international standard provides unequivocal reassurance of our commitment to quality for both existing and future airline customers.”
“We are obviously delighted to have achieved accreditation. However at APM, we regard ISO 9001:2008 accreditation as confirmation of our deep commitment to robust foundations of our quality management processes. That is a foundation on which we have always built, and will continue to build, through continuous improvements in the way we craft our software and services.”
