BESPOKE REPORTING WITH APM’s ETL DATAWAREHOUSE

Whilst APM’s software suite contains an extensive range of reporting options, airlines require as much information as possible to create bespoke analysis and statistical reporting. APM’s Datawarehouse allows standard industry business intelligence tools to plug-in and retrieve vital data to create on demand reporting, analysis and dashboards without compromising the integrity of the live database. Dynamic filtering capability and the ability to create a seamless interface with the live database is available through the STAR structure. This structure is composed of fact tables and dimension tables. Fact tables contain data that users want to analyze and Dimension tables are linked to fact tables by foreign keys to allow users to filter or to sort data depending on the analysis they would like to get. The extraction process is via an APM ETL tool which feeds the APM Datawarehouse that in turn can be used to provide data to a Business Intelligence tool. The ETL software is installed by APM quickly and easily and allows the user to control the extraction process.
