CrewLogic
The CrewLogic system is a powerful crew planning, training and roster management tool. It’s built around APM’s optimiser software to automatically generate the optimal legal crew duties (pairings). By taking into consideration the local aviation authority regulations and airline crew agreements, it identifies the crew establishment required to crew the flight schedule.
Once the Crew Duties are created the optimiser can automatically distribute these duties to crew members based on a range of options. These include equality of distribution and trip type, but also the qualifications of each crew member. When creating a crew roster, the optimiser will ensure duties are only allocated to crew with the required competency and rest.
The system incorporates full training functionality, so that both ground training - such as simulators - and flight training - such as line checks - can be allocated to crew members. Training credentials are published in the roster and crew qualifications updated accordingly.
CrewLogic also includes full functionality for booking hotels, and arranging positioning transport to, or from, flight activities. The system records flights so that a crew’s recent experience is matched to any given allocated flight. Crew tracking functions are included to identify crew roster changes, allowing efficient control of your operation. These are shown in a crew regulations display that filters out flights not affected, and makes for easy management and updates.
CrewLogic can generate an extensive range of reports and graphs, tailored to the client’s needs. These reports include crew rosters, crew duty reports, crew training and crew records including duty, flight and block hours. Certain specified information is available via a web portal called CrewWebPlus: here crew can obtain their rosters, receive crew messages and crew briefing documents over the web.
